Voting is an important civic duty, yet registered voter turnout in the US ranges only from 50% to 60%. Efforts to increase turnout face obstacles: election days are held during workweeks, and many employers don’t offer flexibility. The registration process is often confusing, and many voters feel underinformed. To help correct these problems in the US, AB offers employees time off to vote and a customized website to check registration status, register to vote and learn more about who and what is on their local ballots.

AB’s employees got a chance to volunteer with Thistle Farms, a key organization in the Middle Tennessee region leading the fight to end human trafficking. For over 20 years, Thistle Farms has lit a pathway of healing and hope for women survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction. We spent the day learning from the program graduates how to make natural bath and beauty products and gift sets for their shop.

Employees packed more than 400 boxes of toys and nonperishable food for families in need across Western Sydney.

As a part of AB’s Day of Service, employees installed flooring, painted and landscaped 12 houses with the Morris Habitat for Humanity chapter.
