AB Unveils New Climate School Collaboration with Columbia University

In Spring 2021, AB joined the new Columbia University Climate School as the Founding Member of their Corporate Affiliate Program. “Our partnership with the Columbia Climate School demonstrates the depth of AB’s commitment to advancing the integration and understanding of climate change into decisions facing investors, businesses, governments and society”, said Seth Bernstein, AB President and CEO. “We are proud to be continuing our groundbreaking work with Columbia University, and to be helping to shape how our industry fights climate, both today and in the future.”

 

AB Equity Trading Honored at Markets Choice Awards

For the second time in three years, AB’s global equity trading team was recognized as the top desk in the industry, winning the award for Best Buyside Global Equity Trading Desk at the prestigious 2021 Markets Media Markets Choice Awards.

The team was recognized for their sophisticated approach to automation and systematic routing, quantitative measurement and use of data, relentless pursuit of best execution, and most importantly AB’s deep, diverse talent of our global platform, with a 50% female global equity trading team, a rarity in the trading world.

Barron’s Stock Pick: Buy AllianceBernstein for Its Dividend and Its Growth

President and CEO Seth Bernstein and Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy Ali Dibadj were featured in a Barron’s article that highlighted the firm’s solid performance and growth story.

“We have been able to couple differentiated investment performance with strong distribution capabilities and that has driven growth in AUM (assets under management),” says Dibadj.

 

AB Leaders Featured in Nasdaq’s Women in Technology Series

Nasdaq’s Women in Technology series featured three AB leaders: Brenda Coulter, Head of Compliance Surveillance and Innovation; Inna Kleynburg, Head of Compliance & Legal Technology; and Indu Venkatasubramanian, Business Analyst and Project Manager.

Brenda, Inna and Indu discussed how technology has shaped their careers and offered advice to aspiring young professionals.
